Grants to Kansas nonprofit organizations, groups, and individuals in eligible locations for programs related to the heritage of the local area. Funding is intended for programs that promote, strengthen, and enhance regional heritage. Eligible programs must take place within the Smoky Valley area.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
All nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply as well as groups and individuals working on a charitable community project.
For-profit organizations will not be considered unless the request is for a charitable project.
In order for the Community Foundation to consider your request, you must have an EIN or Tax ID Number.

Grant checks will be mailed 6-8 weeks after the grant application deadline. Grants will not be awarded to projects that occur within the 6-8 weeks following the application deadline. Applicants will be notified via email if they have been approved or denied for funding.
