Award to a Nova Scotia health and physical education teacher, supervisor, or administrator to recognize outstanding contributions to the development of physical and health education. Eligible nominees are individuals who have demonstrated leadership on multiple levels and have had a lasting impact on students and colleagues.
Teachers, supervisors, and/or administrators who have made a notable contribution to the development of physical and health education in the province of Nova Scotia may be nominated.

Nomination Deadline: June 1st of each school year
One Dorothy G Walker Award of Merit is presented at the annual TAPHE conference each October.
